Little Emma meets the Pope

Little Emma was born with half a heart.  Emma was adopted when her 16-year-old birth mother changed her mind about an abortion at the last minute.  Due to her  life-threatening condition Emma was offered a “wish” from the Make-a-Wish Foundation.  She wanted to meet the Pope, her Pope.  This was originally scheduled in February,  and when that trip had to be canceled because of Emma’s weakening condition, the sisters went to visit and bring a special picture of the pope for Emma to see. 

Patti and John Watson are Emma's adoptive parents. They traveled to Rome with her to see her live out her special wish of meeting the pope.
