Several ladies who attended this year's retreat on the Immaculate Heart of Mary make their DeMontfort consecration to Jesus through Mary solemnly at the Cathedral.

The Bishop officiated at the ceremony. Sr. M. Eucharista, one of the presenters at the Retreat on the Immaculate Heart of Mary, was also present and took this picture.
November 27
The local newspaper, the Spokesman Review featured Fr. Kenny St. Hilaire on the front page playing the piano. Fr. Kenny will be playing at our concert.

Sr. Maria Consuela, Postulant Sisters join Sr. Teresa Christi and the children of St. Charles school offer Thanksgiving to Jesus in the Eucharist in a special vigil in honor of Thanksgiving. link

Kansas City – St. Joseph Bishop Robert W. Finn led 22,000 High School students in a Eucharistic Procession through his See City from Sprint Center to the Kansas City Convention Center.

October 10th "Mary Day"

Despite cold weather the attendance was good - almost 200 people came. More pictures in the gallery.

Bishop Skylstad led us in the renewal of the consecration of the diocese to Mary.
The Sisters participated in "Mary Day"
at IHRC, the 50th Anniversary celebration.
Activities included a procession, living Rosary,
renewal of the diocese consecration to Mary
and crowning of Mary.
October 11th

We wish to extend a loving welcome to the 10 sisters, formerly members of an Episcopal religious community known as the Society of the All Saints’ Sisters of the Poor, who were recently received into full communion with the Roman Catholic Church.

Mother Kathryn Joseph and Sr. Mary Francine attended the CMSWR Eucharistic Congress, in D.C. as the guests of the SSVM Sisters. Pictures of their visit in gallery.

Bishop Skylstad, after attending the general meeting of Asian bishops in Manila,(pictures here) journeyed to Vietnam August 16 to 21 and visited
the Shrine of Our Lady of Lavang. More info here.
August 7-9
Six sisters from our community attended and/or helped out at The Midwest Catholic Family Conference August 7-9, 2009 in Kansas. They are Mother Kathryn Joseph, Sr. Maria Consuela, Sr. Mary Eucharista, Sr. Maria Magdalena and Sr. Mary Joanna. 
The Sisters and their helpers took care of almost 500 children. More pictures here.
August 4
A fundraiser was held for Valerie Stringer, one of our incoming candidates.

The funds raised will assist in covering some expenses connected with her entering our convent. This special event which was held near the St. Louis Cathedral Basilica and was followed by a Holy Hour for Vocations at the Basilica. More about this event here.
July 31st - August 2nd
Sr. Mary Eucharista, Sr. Maria Consuela and Mother Kathryn Joseph participated in Steubenville Northwest "Above All" at Gonzaga University. More info about that here and here. (Also pictures in gallery- Youth Ministry)
June 22nd - July 31st.
Four of the sisters participated in the Vita Consecrata institute at Christendom College in Virginia. (See the gallery for yet more pictures.)

Chant Class - Mother Kathryn Joseph and Sr. Mary Francine were in San Diego attending CMAA’s first-ever Winter Chant Intensive, taught by Scott Turkington.
