Sodality
Based upon the Catholic Jesuit Sodality Programs (1571- to the present day), the Knights of the Sacred Heart and the Daughters of the Immaculate Lily Sodalities are newly established - student founded, adult moderated - youth groups within the Saint Charles School family in Spokane. The Sodality program emphasizes personal holiness through consecration to Mary, life-long habits of virtue and works of mercy. With increased interest and additional adult volunteers, we hope to share this ministry with other Catholic communities in the diocese.
SODALITY CONSECRATION
On December 9, 2011, the Feast of St. Juan Diego, students at St. Charles School were received as candidates, Consecrated, and Professed members of the Sodality. Pictured with the Sodality members are Father Tom Connolly, pastor of St. Charles Parish, and the Sodality's moderator, Sr. Maria Consuela.
